Wycombe Abbey HK warmly welcomes Mr Robert Fox as its new Headmaster! Rob is a specialist in Prep School education, having worked in the profession for over 25 years. He was previously the Headmaster at Packwood Haugh Prep School, a member of the Shrewsbury Family of Schools. Before this, he spent six years as Assistant Head (Pastoral) at Harrow International School, where he had specific responsibility for the pastoral care of pupils in the Prep and Senior Schools, and took on a lead role in the development of the School's ethos and culture. He has also held roles at Repton Prep School and Nottingham High School. Mr Fox believes that a strong emphasis on pastoral care allied to an all-round education helps children to grow in confidence, achieve excellent academic results and thrive in all areas of school life. He is married to Kate and has three children. Rob enjoys travel, hiking in the mountains and sport, with a particular passion for cricket and hockey. Our Spring Concert this year was a memorable evening filled with delightful musical performances from the students. The event, held in collaboration with Pure Music, featured a diverse range of students from various year groups. Join us in bidding a heartfelt farewell to our Founding Headmaster, Mr Howard Tuckett! Mr Tuckett joined Wycombe Abbey as the Founding Principal in 2019. From the very beginning, Mr Tuckett has been an integral part of Wycombe Abbey Hong Kong, pouring his dedication and expertise into every aspect from the ground up, even right down to the placement of electrical outlets in the classrooms during the building phase of the school! As a visionary leader, he has nurtured and shaped our school community, fostering an environment of excellence and growth. Mr Tuckett's departure leaves a void that will be sorely felt, but we are grateful for the lasting impact he has made. We extend our warmest wishes to him as he embarks on his next venture, confident that his remarkable leadership will continue to inspire others. Hong Kong China Rugby visited our campus recently, bringing along two talented players and their CEO, Mr Robbie McRobbie. [Celebrating Extra-Curricular Excellence: Wycombe Abbey Hong Kong Students Embrace Sports and Music at Wycombe Abbey in Changzhou, China] Some of our year 4-8 students have just returned from an exciting Extracurricular Enrichment Trip to Wycombe Abbey School in Changzhou, China. After the success of WASCZ's visit to our Hong Kong campus last year, the time came for our students to embark on their own eagerly awaited journey to WASCZ. The trip celebrated all things extra-curricular with a focus on sports and music activities, and the pupils experienced the state-of-the-art facilities at WASCZ, from the impressive Multi-Sports Dome to the picturesque rowing boathouse. In the evenings, our pupils bonded with WASCZ students and fellow adventurers during various indoor activities. Thank you to WASCZ for hosting us! We eagerly await future adventures together.
