GUM昨日公佈4月份強積金表現。2024年4月份，「GUM強積金綜合指數」下跌0.2%，強積金成員人均虧572港元，全年合計賺5,449港元。   4月中港股票基金出現明顯反彈。GUM常務董事陳銳隆指出：「 這次港股反彈主要是受惠於內地推出的五項惠港措施，措施優化了滬港通機制，吸引了內地投資者來港投資。相反，全球市場在四月份出現了回調，主要受伊朗和以色列戰事影響。聯儲局減息預期再次下降，目前預計2024年只會減息1次。相信隨著五月份美國踏入業績期，股市波動將會擴大，投資者應謹慎並密切關注市場動態。」   GUM released the MPF Performance for April 2024 yesterday. In April 2024, the “GUM Comprehensive MPF Index” fell by 0.2%, the average loss per member in the MPF was HKD 572, with a total gain of HK$ 5,449 for the year.   There was a notable rebound in Chinese and Hong Kong equity funds. Michael Chan, Managing Director of GUM | Your MPF Expert | Hong Kong, pointed out that “The recent rebound in the Hong Kong stock market was primarily driven by five favourable measures introduced by Mainland China, which optimized the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect mechanism and attracted Mainland investors to invest in Hong Kong. Conversely, global markets experienced a pullback in April, mainly due to the Iran and Israel conflicts. Expectations for interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve have decreased once again, with current projections suggesting only one rate cut in 2024. GUM今日發布2024年3月強積金市場分析報告。截至3月，強積金市場總資產上升了1.9%，至1.18萬億港元。首季資金淨流入最多的前五個資產類型包括「美國股票基金」、「預設投資策略-核心累積基金」、「環球股票基金」、「日本股票基金」和「環球債券基金」，共佔90%以上的總資金轉換。 GUM策略及投資分析師雲天輝指出：「首季共15億港元持續追入日本股票基金，顯示成員對日股需求熾熱。雖然現時日股基金佔強積金總資產仍然低於1%，市面上有提供日股基金的供應商亦僅有3間，但成員亦可留意部分亞洲基金中的日股成份比例，作出適合自己風險及投資偏好的選擇。另外，減息預期令「環球債券基金」的資金轉入上升至第五位，但上月美國通脹數據出乎意料反彈，使6月份減息機率大減，債券基金表現受壓。成員需注意，強積金作為超長線的退休投資，應以長線投資的角度看待強積金，不應過份預測最佳的入市時機來追逐市場波動。」 GUM released the MPF Market Analysis Report March 2024 today. As of March, the total assets of the MPF market rose by 1.9% to HKD 1.18 trillion. In Q1, the top five asset types with the highest net inflows include the "United States Equity Fund", "DIS - Core Accumulation Fund", "Global Equity Fund", "Japan Equity Fund", and "Global Bond Fund", which together account for over 90% of the total fund transfers. GUM's Strategy and Investment Analyst, Martin W., pointed out, "In Q1, there was a strong demand for Japanese stocks as a total of HKD1.5 billion was invested in Japanese equity funds. Although Japanese equity funds make up less than 1% of MPF's total assets and there are only three providers offering them, members can consider the proportion of Japanese stocks in certain Asian funds to align with their risk and investment preferences. Additionally, expectations of interest rate cuts boosted inflows into global bond funds, but unexpected US inflation data dampened bond fund performance. As of 15 April, the MPF recorded a decline of 1.4% in April, resulting in an average loss of HKD $3,608 per member. However, the total annual gain still amounted to HKD $2,413. Equity, Mixed-asset, and Fixed-income Fund indices all declined, with drops of 1.8%, 1.8%, and 0.2% respectively in mid-April. The US Equity Fund experienced a relatively significant decline of 3.5%, while the Hong Kong Equity Fund experienced a slight increase, rising by 0.1%. DIS Fund was impacted by both equity and bond markets. The Core Accumulation Fund declined by 2.4% in April, but still experienced an overall increase of 2.2% in 2024. GUM 於今天舉行記者會並發佈2024首季強積金表現。2024首季延續2023年概況，年初至今人均賺6,022港元。歐美日市場表現強勁，美股受科技股帶動再創新高，聯儲局宣布推遲減息；中港市場在1月出現下跌，市場期望「兩會」推出刺激方案，恒指2月出現反彈。截至2024年2月，有70億港元流入美股和預設投資策略基金，資金主要由中港及混合資產類別基金流出。   積金局在立法會年度預算報告，積金易平台的整體開發和測試已經完成，萬通和中國人壽將在今年6-7月率先投入平台，其他受託人計劃將在明年年底完成轉移，為強積金立下重要里程碑。   就著2024年Q2展望，GUM常務董事陳銳隆指出：「現時基金回報分化，環球市場表現造好。高風險投資者可考慮美日股基金，低風險可投資保守基金賺取穩定回報，中風險則可配置有較廣地區分布及管理費較廉宜的預設投資策略基金。」   GUM | Your MPF Expert | Hong Kong held a press conference today and released the Q1 2024 MPF performance today. The 2024 Q1 continues the trend of 2023 with strong performance in the European, US, and Japanese markets, and the average member earnings for the year amounted to HKD 6,022. The US stock market reached new highs driven by technology stocks, and the FED announced a delay in interest rate cuts. The China and Hong Kong markets experienced a decline in January, but rebounded in February due to market expectations surrounding the "Two Sessions".   As of February, approximately HKD 7 billion flowed into "US Equity Fund" and "Default Investment Strategy Fund", with the majority of these funds being transferred from "Hong Kong Equity Fund", "Greater China Equity Fund", and "Mixed Asset (80% to 100% Equity) Fund".   MPFA announced that the overall development and testing of the eMPF platform have been completed during the Legislative Council's Financial Affairs. YF Life and China Life will be the first trustees to join the platform in June-July this year. Other trustees are planning to complete their migration to the platform by the end of next year. This marks an important milestone in the MPF market.   Regarding the outlook for 2024 Q2, GUM's Managing Director, Michael Chan, pointed out "Currently, fund returns are diverging, with better performance observed in global markets. High-risk investors may consider investing in US and Japanese equity funds. Low-risk investors can opt for MPF Conservative funds to earn stable returns.
