Today, we’re beyond excited (and just a little bit hyped) to announce our $7.3M Series A funding, led by VentureWave Capital, with awesome backing from Singtel Innov8, Korea Investment Partners, and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Entrepreneurship Investment Fund. This round facilitated by Venturebeam marks one of the most significant Series A impact AI investments in workplace safety tech and we’re just getting started. Since its inception in 2016; viAct is building the next-gen AI-powered ecosystem where computer vision, IoT, Edge and Generative AI come together to create job sites that can think, react, and protect in real time. This has been aimed at transforming safety from a checkbox into a strategic advantage that fuels productivity in operations, sustainability in process and psychological well-being amongst workforce. Already, we’re live on 350+ complex industrial jobsites around the world. 300+ general contractors have brought us into their ops. And our end users? They have saved over $100 billion annually, preventing accidents and related downtime. That’s a lot of concrete, and a lot of trust. With this fundraising; we definitely are thinking big! We plan to dive deep into Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, where smart safety is more needed than ever. We plan hiring the dream team with AI nerds, safety geeks, sustainability champs.
